For people whose work depends on knowing.
Insider is Zaviye's analyst tier — the daily Synthesis Brief, per-article framing analysis, the coverage-gap signals API, dimension-slice tools, and founding membership in our specialist verticals as they ship. Built for the small slice of readers — writers, analysts, foreign-desk editors, MENA researchers, multilingual policy professionals — who use Zaviye as part of how they work.
What it includes
The Daily Dossier
One Dossier per weekday when the engine ships at full cadence. Same multi-dimensional format as the public Dossier — language, state alignment, ideology, modality, provenance, temporal pattern — sliced for one Middle East story per day. Insider receives it the morning the engine generates it; the public weekly Brief carries the most analytically meaningful piece of the week.
Per-article framing analysis
On any cited outlet on any story page, the framing analysis surfaces how that outlet's coverage diverges from the cluster median across language and ideological position. Useful when you need to cite a specific outlet's stance with evidence, not assertion.
Coverage-gap signals API
Programmatic access to the blind-spot detector. Webhook or polling endpoints return the same coverage_asymmetry signals the editorial uses, scoped to your topic filters. Call when you're building a topic-tracking workflow that needs the silence as data.
Dimension-slice tools
Interactive filtering of the corpus by any single dimension or pair of dimensions in the topology — e.g. Hezbollah-aligned Arabic press in October-November on Syria. Returns sources, headlines, and an export for use elsewhere.
Saved searches & topic alerts
Save a topic + dimension query; get notified by email when the cluster matching it crosses a threshold (new outlet joins, language cohort enters, asymmetry signal flips).
Citation rights for personal published work
Use Zaviye's framing data, source profiles, and the Dossier in your own published writing — articles, essays, books — with a credit line back. Subscriber-tier readers get personal-use access; Insider unlocks citation in named work.
API quota — 250k calls / month
Five times the Subscriber quota. Suitable for sustained automated workflows. Beyond 250k, see the developer plans at /developers.
Founding membership in Iran Watch (shipping Q3 2026)
Insiders are auto-included as founding members of our first specialist vertical — a daily curated feed plus weekly editorial summary on Iranian politics, sanctions, regional posture, and diaspora discourse. Standalone for non-Insider buyers when it ships.
The engine, briefly
Every source Zaviye ingests is tagged across a 24-dimension discourse topology — six categories spanning source identity (language, funding, geographic origin, generation, editorial structure), positional axis (state alignment, ideological position, sectarian-ethnic axis, religious position, historical track record), audience and reach (targeting, network position, engagement signals), form (modality, genre, register, affective mode, visual content), provenance (translation chain, verification posture, citation pattern), and temporal-environmental context (temporal pattern, censorship status, platform amplification).
The Dossier draws on whichever 4–8 of those dimensions are doing analytical work for the story at hand. Insider tools open the same slice surface to you directly — filter the corpus by any single dimension, pair of dimensions, or saved query, and read the result as text or export it as JSON.
The full topology specification lives in the strategy repository at docs/strategy/synthesis-brief-format.md. The first published Brief — The pagers and the palace — shows the format end-to-end.
Where the engine actually is
Cadence honesty: the engine is in the middle of a 10-week ingest-tagging build (see the engineering plan in the strategy docs). Until tagging completes across the corpus, the Dossier is monthly, the Daily Dossier promise is forward- looking, and dimension-slice queries return partial-cohort results.
Founding-Insider members get the Daily Dossier, the full dimension-slice tools, and Iran Watch founding membership at the same price they signed up at — no upgrade fee when the engine reaches full cadence. We'd rather under- promise and over-ship than the reverse.
$25 a month, or $250 a year — about two months free. 14-day free trial; cancel any time.
