flydubai co-pilot planned suicide attack inspired by 9/11, prosecutors say

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have revealed that the co-pilot of a Flydubai flight planned an attack inspired by the September 11th attacks. The co-pilot intended to crash the aircraft, en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, into the airport in Tel Aviv. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

This revelation brings a new dimension to the security concerns surrounding air travel between the UAE and Israel.
