Yandex data centre in Russia's Vladimir region shut down after drone attack

A data center operated by the Russian technology company Yandex in the Vladimir region has ceased operations following a drone attack. The company confirmed the shutdown, which has led to disruptions in some of its services for users. This incident marks the third Yandex data facility reportedly affected by such attacks.

The attacks on Yandex infrastructure occur amidst ongoing hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. Yandex, a prominent internet services provider in Russia, offers a wide range of services including search, mapping, and ride-hailing. The vulnerability of its data centers raises concerns about the resilience of critical digital infrastructure in the region.
