Terrorism suspects detained in Istanbul and Gaziantep operations

Turkish authorities conducted simultaneous operations in Istanbul and other provinces targeting suspected members of the Islamic State (ISIS) and the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ). Reports indicate the apprehension of at least 11 individuals in connection with ISIS financing and 20 suspects in an operation against FETÖ. Some foreign nationals were detained in the ISIS-related raids.

These security actions underscore Turkey's ongoing efforts to combat domestic and international extremist groups. The focus on both ISIS and FETÖ reflects the government's persistent security concerns and its strategy of disrupting the financial and operational networks of these organizations within its borders and beyond.
