A fire at a fuel depot in Sudan’s Al Jazirah state, attributed to a drone strike by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), has been extinguished. The authorities have not yet released figures regarding casualties or the extent of the damage to the facility at Umm Alila. Separately, an RSF drone attack reportedly killed two individuals at a displacement shelter in El Obeid.
The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF continues to disrupt civilian life and critical infrastructure. Targeting fuel depots suggests an effort to impede military logistics and economic activity. The strikes on displacement shelters underscore the severe humanitarian toll of the ongoing hostilities.
