Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan hosts R4 meeting in Istanbul

Istanbul hosted a meeting of the R4 foreign ministers, comprising Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan welcomed his counterparts for the discussions. The minister also engaged in diplomatic talks on the sidelines of the 9th Istanbul Mediation Conference.

This gathering underscores Turkey's role as a regional diplomatic hub. The R4 format, though less prominent than other regional blocs, allows for focused dialogue on shared interests among these nations. The concurrent mediation conference highlights Istanbul's continued importance in facilitating international dialogue and conflict resolution.
